Game Day #6 – Spirit (5) – Muskies (1)
At first glance reading a 5-1 score you would think the loosing team got out played badly. However that is not the case.
The Muskies were buzzing and putting up high quality scoring chance after high quality scoring chance. The Muskies managed to hit 5 cross bars, 4 posts and miss opening by millimeters. The game of hockey is a game of inches and this game was proof.
At the same time Spirit Goalie Kyle Downey stood tall and shut the Muskies down, there were a number of highlight real saves he made keeping the Spirit in the game.
The lone Muskies goal was scored by Jacob McMahon, his 1st OJHL goal.
